Scheme of Service Training
The mandate of the GIMPA Public Services School (GPSS) is to ensure that all public service employees, especially those engaged in the Civil Service and the Local Government Service, have the requisite knowledge and skills needed to deliver high quality services in an effective manner.
This is accomplished through periodic review, redesign and delivery of both the Scheme of Service and customized management training programmes.
In collaboration with the Office of the Head of Civil Service, GIMPA Public Services School offers Scheme of Service training to members of the civil and local government services for career development. At each level in the career path, officers are required to undergo a specific training designed to provide them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be able perform at that level of position.
