Project Management Workshop


The implementation of a project requires skilled management and planned execution. Project management focuses on doing just that from conception to evaluation - bringing together and optimizing the resources necessary to complete a project. This workshop introduces participants to the concepts and practices in project planning perspective, project management techniques, and skills and techniques for implementing and managing projects.

The three day workshop provides an interactive forum for exchanging ideas and best practices through a series of extended, in-depth presentations, illustrative case studies and dynamic round-table discussions.

Workshop objectives: At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to have a deeper appreciation of:

  • Fundamental project management strategies
  • Roles of individuals in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation
  • The differences and relationships between monitoring and evaluation
  • The estimation concept
  • The project cycle, from a policy point of view to a project evaluation level
  • The relationship between projects and corporate or organisational strategies
  • Being able to demonstrate a good understanding of the tools and strategies that exist for effective management of project health
  • The role of project stakeholder management in the success of a project.

Tuition fees: the workshop will attract a cost of GHC 1,500 per participant ($450 for international participants) which covers tuition, course materials, lunch, snacks and a certificate.
